Growing up in the middle of the country with nothing but an abundance of nature surrounding me gave my imagination ceaseless outlets to run rampant. I often find myself thinking back to the exhilarating thoughts and beliefs that I held so strongly as a child and finding it intimidatingly interesting that every single one of them sprouted from nothing. Of course the marvelous beasts and worlds that they inhabited didn’t exist, but in my mind as a child, they couldn’t have been more real.

They were most real when I closed my eyes and gave my mind the dark blank canvas of closed eyelids. When you close your eyes, you see nothing- only what your mind allows. The options are endless. This understanding keeps me creating and believing in wonder. Close your eyes, its there. I promise.
